Hi! My name is Renee Lynch and I serve as the Program Director as well as the Lead Teacher in the Orchid Room here at SVK.  My commitment to early childhood advocacy is the driving force in my professional life, pushing me to obtain a BA and MA in the field.  I am passionate about our unique program here at SVK and am incredibly grateful to be part of something that can truly make a difference in the lives of our children.

I believe in strong family-school relations and always strive to involve families as much as possible in the education process.

I live here in Saxapahaw with my two children and am honored to be a part of such an incredible community. In my free time you can find me at live events or out in nature hiking, kayaking, or enjoying a good book!

Kendra Cruz

(Pronouns: she/her)

My name is Kendra Cruz and I am the Associate Director as well as the Lead Teacher in the Daffodil Room. I started my journey here at SVK in June of 2014. It has been an amazing experience to learn and grow here with incredible educators as we have developed this program. One of my very favorite parts of my job is exploring nature with my littles. It is a marvelous experience to see the beauty of the Earth through the eyes of the child.

I live in Swepsonville with my husband and two little boys, Jonah and Nolan. We love to spend any of our free time in the garden, at the beach or in the mountains!

Angela Corbett

(Pronouns: she/her)

Hi! My name is Angela Corbett and I am super excited to be a part of the SVK family! I currently serve as the Afternoon Supervisor. I started my journey in education in 2010 teaching two year olds. I later moved to an inclusive center teaching 3-5 year olds of all abilities. From there I continued my career in the Alamance Burlington School System as an assistant K-5 teacher working on ELA, Math and Science. I hold an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education as well as state credentials. Teaching children of all ages for the last thirteen years has been so rewarding! I enjoy seeing them explore and find their place in this big world!

I live in Burlington with my husband of twenty years, Steven, and my two children, Christian and Arianna. My son is autistic and in my spare time I enjoy spreading advocacy for autistic individuals. I love hiking, traveling, reading, and serving as minister and youth leader in my church.

Hi everyone! I'm Lisa Bradley and I'm very excited and thankful for the opportunity to grow here at SVK as an assistant teacher. I've been a caretaker for the very young as well as the elderly throughout my career as a CNA and a childcare provider. I love watching children learn through play and engage their natural curiosity! I can't wait to get to know you all and to begin building relationships!

I live in Graham with my four children, and in our free time we enjoy beach trips and movie nights at home in a blanket fort!
